Originally from Ohio, Veronica was active in the high school band, volunteered in the community, and attended ethics conferences and business symposiums. She was awarded the Semper Fidelis Award in 2001, which is presented to a student who displays traits that the Marine Corps considers essential to being a good leader: endurance, knowledge, unselfishness, dependability, enthusiasm, loyalty, and musical excellence.

After moving to the mid-Michigan area, Veronica graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in health science interdisciplinary and a minor in psychology. Her love of the medical sciences and helping people made being a hearing instrument specialist a perfect fit for her. She loves being active in her community, serves on the Alma CAC Health Board, is an Optimist club member, and volunteers as a youth leader and in the nursery at her church. When not volunteering, Veronica spends time with her family, attending their sporting events. In her free time, she likes to draw, paint, and craft and is an avid book reader. Her favorite book is Pride and Prejudice.
